A Destination Wedding Adventure in Trinidad, CA

Every wedding tells a story, and this one? It was a whisper of the wind through redwoods, the crash of waves on rugged shores, and the laughter of a tight-knit family under a golden fog.

When Natalie’s mom, Tammy invited me to capture Natalie & Trenton’s intimate celebration in Trinidad, CA, I knew it was going to be special! With only 12 of their closest family members, this wedding was a heartwarming blend of simplicity and adventure. They found the most breathtaking ranch nestled near the coastal beach, complete with a sprawling 5-bedroom house that echoed with stories and joy.

Beneath the beautiful Northern California redwoods, Natalie and Trenton’s elopment was magical. They were surrounded by their closest family who all flew into Eureka, California for their stunning wedding.

But the real magic? Natalie & Trenton’s stay—a three-story treehouse, built by none other than Treehouse Masters, perched on an enormous redwood. Right infront of the treehouse masterpiece lies a lagoon, surrounded by towering giants of nature, where each morning you were in the middle of the quiet forest shared only with the sounds of the ocean. It was nothing short of enchanting!

After the ceremony we headed to the beach. The northern California beaches are like no other. The rugged cliffs with gentle fog creates the most romantic backdrop for more photos.

As the sun set we did a few photos with the jeep they rented for their Northern California elopment. The shots were stunning! It was a joy to capture Natalie and Trenton’s magical elopement.
