The outfits you and your partner choose will set the vibe for your photos, so think of it as your chance to shine! Trust me, I’ve been there—frantically searching through my closet while clothes explode everywhere. So, don’t save this decision for the last minute! I promise you’ll thank me later.
Solid colors are always a safe bet, but don’t be afraid to get a little adventurous with patterns, just make sure that if one of you wears a pattern, it’s balanced and not too overpowering. Patterns can look great, but avoid anything too busy like checkered shirts. And, of course, make sure it fits the vibe you’re going for.

Colors
What to Avoid
Pick a color palette that vibes with the season location or vibe/aesthetic youre going for. Cool coastal tones for summer? Yes, please. Earthy autumn hues for fall? Absolutely. Neutrals like white, cream, black, tan, and brown will always be your besties. Bonus points for layers, textures, and accessories—these little touches will add so much depth to your photos, and guess what? No outfit change required! And hey, who doesn’t love a long, flowy dress that makes you look like you’re starring in a rom-com?
If you're thinking of two outfits, go wild! One dressy and one casual is a classic move. Or if you’re the type who enjoys getting fancy, go for one dressy and one “I’m here to turn heads” formal look. After all, this is your moment to shine!
Props? Bring them if you want! Picnic blankets, champagne, champane glasses, balloons, a bouquet of flowers—whatever adds that personal touch. Just don’t bring anything that requires a complicated setup. We’re going for natural, not a full production.
Comfort
Now, let’s talk comfort. My photography style involves a bit of movement—walking, twirling, possibly even dancing like no one’s watching (except the camera, but it’ll be fun). So, wear something that lets you move freely. If you are going for the high heels look, make sure to bring comfortable flip flops so that when we are getting to the location we can avoid the “I’m trying not to sink into the ground” shuffle. Beach photos? Feel free to ditch the shoes and go barefoot. We’re here for that carefree vibe!
Here’s the golden rule: wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable. Whether you're channeling your inner glam or just want to roll up in a hoodie, own it. Don’t be afraid to go extra if you love dressing up, or keep it low-key if that’s more your jam.

Lastly the goal is to have fun capture your connection, this is your moment, so enjoy it!! I promise we’ll capture the magic, even if there’s a wardrobe malfunction or someone accidentally steps on a twig and does an awkward dance move. It’ll make for great memories (and photos).
